Double tent card

Hey Crafters..
Today ill share a DT project that i made for BGC challenge 42..All that Glitters!
I so wanted to try a double tent card for long..so this time i gave it a try..
Tent cards are created by adding a folded cardstock insert at the base of the card . The extra folding allows the card to stand open at the bottom creating depth and the illusion of three-dimensions. (It's not really as confusing as it sounds... trust me!)

Layers + over the edge

hey there!
 Today Ill share a tag that i made for a challenge at BGC.
 Its called Layers + over the edge !! 

The tag has so many layers of handmade paper, with the two hand cut and hand drawn mouse couple with a nice butterfly going over the edge ! Isnt it cute ?

Piece of Cake isnt it?

Hey Crafters!

Ill today share a simple yet different favor box n yes its just a piece of cake!! no seriously it is a Piece of Cake!

 

Isnt it clean and simple?
Now ill share with you a template of this cake slice box.

 

 

now cut on the solid lines.

now score the dotted lines.

 

 

here is your unfolded slice of cake

fold it along the scored lines to give it a shape.

 

Here are few boxes i made as an order for someone..

Gifting Love

Hey Crafters!
How are you all doing? Sorry was a little busy moving and then setting up the new house...a new house means a new crafts room too!! hehe cant wait to finish decorating and then sharing the pics of my new Art Room.
Anyways, today ill share a DT project that i made for the current Challenge at http://beyondgrey.blogspot.ae/ and its called Challenge # 38 : Gifting Love !
Create a project with a gift on it such that it can be removed (detached) without affecting your creation OR create a project where your creation is not only a means to wishing people but it is a gift in itself.
Here is my take as a DT at BGC for this challenge.

Yes! Its an explosion box card for a baby... i have used colours for girls and boys so it can be used to gift to anyone. and on the lid of the box is a rattle attached to it, which can be detatched.
Isnt it cute?

            There is a challenge up at BGC... and its the first time i have worked as a Design Team.
The challenge theme is Celebrate your friend with a peepy-fruity twist ! 

Make a window card with single or multiple windows and the twist is inspired by your favourite fruit colour,shape or both (Mention in your post the name of the fruit that inspired you). Also,we would like to see the word 'Friend' or 'Friendship' included somewhere on your card/project.

here is my project for this theme..

hope the lil flods are visible in this picture... the grass is placed in the first fold then the two cartoons and the cat and dog, n in the third one are the standing cartoon characters.

                                            from the side view you can see its a shadow box card

 

 

I was inspired by Strawberry. Cartoon charaters in this card are fro the Cartoon Strawberry Shortcake. isn't it a cute striking piece!
