Back again!

Hello there fellow crafters!
 I know I have been missing for a very very long time! Life had soo much to offer in the past year and half. UAE back to Pakistan...was in the process of settling down and then found out im moving again, and now in Oman. Alhumdulillah settled down well. I must confess I didn't stop crafting all this time but yes was just to lazy to use the laptop and blog!
Muscat , Oman is a beautiful place, full of natural beauty! I was lucky enough to find a part time job when I moved here as Art instructor for little children playdates at Space Oman Center. We meet every Saturday and have a lot of fun crafting, painting, story telling and what not. will soon share some pictures of the playdates.
These days im busy preparing things for a crafts fair that I have booked a stall in on the 2nd of May. so really crafting like crazy, yes im being a busssssy bee!
Off for now, but I promise not to disappear again!

Double tent card

Hey Crafters..
Today ill share a DT project that i made for BGC challenge 42..All that Glitters!
I so wanted to try a double tent card for long..so this time i gave it a try..
Tent cards are created by adding a folded cardstock insert at the base of the card . The extra folding allows the card to stand open at the bottom creating depth and the illusion of three-dimensions. (It's not really as confusing as it sounds... trust me!)

Layers + over the edge

hey there!
 Today Ill share a tag that i made for a challenge at BGC.
 Its called Layers + over the edge !! 

The tag has so many layers of handmade paper, with the two hand cut and hand drawn mouse couple with a nice butterfly going over the edge ! Isnt it cute ?

Hey Crafters!

Ill today share a simple yet different favor box n yes its just a piece of cake!! no seriously it is a Piece of Cake!

 

Isnt it clean and simple?
Now ill share with you a template of this cake slice box.

 

 

now cut on the solid lines.

now score the dotted lines.

 

 

here is your unfolded slice of cake

fold it along the scored lines to give it a shape.

 

Here are few boxes i made as an order for someone..
